Having completed my Burrell I have realised that I am unlikely to rally the POP again. This is a shame as I have worked hard to ruggedise the POP to enable me to take it on the rally field.

SOLD October 2006

I have improved my POP in the following ways:-

  • Cast iron piston rings necessary in cast iron cylinders
  • Replacement side valves necessary for correct valve timing
  • Bolted on tyres necessary to  avoid shedding tyres
  • Footrests for comfortable driving
  • Upgraded Steering
  • Cart with large water tank for addition range
  • Solution to many minor problems that prevent reliable operation

Benefits:-

  • Rally Proven - See us at Guildford
  • Manageable size
     Length 48"
     Width 15"
     Weight about 100lb
  • Easy to transport (see)
  • Ride on Model, no need for driving trolley
  • Interchangeable cabs
Low Cab for easy access when steaming
     High Cab for display

I have resprayed most of the engine (click image to see in detail)

I have recently sprayed ad lined the ModelWorks supplied cab

I have now sprayed and fitted the new steering
mechanism

The cart has a 2 gallon water tank which greatly extends the POPs range
