Prologue: ModelWorks were hoping to deliver the first Foden kit before Christmas 2005. This has now slipped and I will update the diary when I hear any news.

 If the long chassis members are supplied in one piece it is going to be a big box as they are over 8 feet long.  Once assembled we will get a sense as to the substantial size of the completed Foden kit.

I am currently plotting how I will accommodate the Foden and Burrell in my single car garage.  As we are in for a hard winter I would like to find room for the car as well!

I have illustrated the first few diary entries with 3D pictures extracted from the Solidworks CAD system used by Steve to design the Foden.  These pictures were extracted at an early stage of development and so the production kits are likely to vary.  They do however give a very good idea at the sort of components we will be getting over the coming months.
