On checking the contents I discovered that I was short of a pair of spokes. Drat I will not be able to do all 16 today.   

Tuesday: Following an e-mail to ModelWorks I received the two replacement spokes today.  No more excuses I will have to get on and clean those spokes.

Rather that set up a production line I have decided to attack all the  preparation jobs on a broad front.  So far I have done half the spokes and have nearly finished preparing the rim.  The metal filler lasted and I have some left even though I have also done the hidden fillets. 

Wednesday: I don't like spokes and they don't like me! After cleaning the single Type 3 spoke (the one with the drive pin hole) it noticed it was crooked. 

I was convinced that I would not be able to straighten it but thought I should try before contacting ModelWorks.  To my surprise, with the hub end griped in the vise, I easily pulled in back to the correct profile.   

Sunday: Today I finished the final wheel.  It is the same as the last months.  The four wheels now await next month's messy job.
